Emergency Blocked Manhole in Maidstone

Introduction

This job involved an emergency late night call out to clear a blocked manhole that was causing water to back up and flood into a kitchen. Working quickly to limit the damage, we located and cleared the blockage, with the job completed within a few hours of arriving on site.

Project Overview

A blocked manhole had caused water to back up and begin flooding into a kitchen, an urgent situation that needed addressing straight away to prevent further water damage to the property. We attended as an emergency call out, located the manhole, and worked to clear the blockage causing the backup. Once the obstruction was removed, water was able to drain away properly again, stopping the flooding at its source.

Client Quote

Responded quickly when we had an emergency blockage that was causing water to flood into the kitchen. They found and cleared the blockage within a few hours, stopping the flooding and preventing any further damage. Really impressed with the speed and service.

Result

The blockage was cleared and the flooding into the kitchen resolved within a few hours of the emergency call out, preventing further water damage to the property. This is a good example of how quickly a blocked manhole can escalate into a genuine emergency, and why a fast response matters when water's already coming into a property rather than just failing to drain away outside.
